SMS Messaging Terms & Privacy Policy

Lemmer Web Consulting · Last updated: September 2, 2026

Lemmer Web Consulting (“we,” “us”) is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Chris Lemmer, providing communication and dispatch technology services to local businesses. This page explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how our text-message (SMS) program works.

Who we are

Lemmer Web Consulting operates AI phone-dispatch systems on behalf of our business clients. For example, when you call a client’s dispatch line to book a service such as a taxi ride, our system helps take your request and coordinate a confirmation. We are the operator of the messaging system; the service itself (for example, the ride) is provided by our client business.

What we collect

When you call a dispatch line we operate, we collect only what’s needed to handle your request:

We do not collect payment card details, government IDs, location tracking, or any sensitive personal information through this system.

How we use SMS (text messages)

We use text messages for transactional confirmations only — never for marketing or promotions.

When you call to book a ride, we may text you:

We also text the driver a one-tap request for each booking. Messages relate only to the specific ride you requested during your call. Message frequency: typically one short exchange per ride you book. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Sample messages

These are the actual message templates this program sends, quoted in full. Every message a customer receives carries the opt-out instruction; the first one also carries HELP.

1. Ride request sent to the driver — the one-tap dispatch:

RIDE REQ #14: Malarkey's Pub -> 805 Grand Ave, 2 pax, ASAP, $19.40. Reply 1=15min 2=30min 3=45min 4=can't

2. Confirmation sent to the customer once the driver taps a time:

[Business name]: Your ride is confirmed. Your driver will arrive in about 15 minutes. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

3. “Still confirming” update to the customer, if the driver has not answered yet:

[Business name]: We're still confirming your ride with the driver -- hang tight, you'll have a pickup time by text shortly. Reply STOP to opt out.

4. Notice to the customer when the driver cannot take the ride:

[Business name]: Sorry, your driver can't take this ride right now. Please call us back and we'll help arrange another option. Reply STOP to opt out.

Message 1 goes to the client business’s own driver, who operates the dispatch line. Messages 2 through 4 go to the customer, at the number the customer called us from, and only ever concern the specific ride that customer just requested by phone. Message and data rates may apply.

By calling our dispatch line and requesting a ride, you consent to receive a transactional confirmation text message about that ride, sent to the phone number you called from. This consent is limited to ride-confirmation messages for rides you request. We do not send marketing texts, and we do not add you to any recurring campaign.

Opting out and getting help

  • Reply STOP at any time to any message to stop all further text messages immediately. We honor STOP requests and will not text that number again.
  • Reply HELP to any message for support information, or contact us directly at (715) 302-9397 or lwc@lemmerweb.com.

We do not sell or share your data

We do not sell, rent, or trade your phone number or any information we collect. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share information only as needed to fulfill your request (for example, giving the driver the ride details) or where required by law. No mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Data retention

We keep ride and message records only as long as needed to operate the service and for ordinary business records, then delete or anonymize them.

Changes to this policy

We may update this page from time to time; the “last updated” date above reflects the most recent change.
